We Go Beyond
Women Empowerment Program
Fireside Group is highly committed to advancing the girl child both career wise and economically. The women empowerment program at Fireside Group ensures that women seeking to venture into the engineering sector get as much access and opportunities as their male counterparts.
The Fireside Group engineering team comprises both men and women engineers who are accorded equal duties and access to necessary engineering facilities. Every day, the world advances to new technologies and outlooks. In the words of Michelle Obama, “We need all hands on deck, and that means clearing hurdles for women and girls as they navigate careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.”
Fireside engagement with UN Global Compact
The United Nations Global Compact is an initiative of the United Nations to unite all companies in the world towards operating along the universal principles regulating human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption and actions that advance societal goals. These principles are also referred to as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) whose achievement target is set for 2030.
Fireside Group is already on the track of the SDGs. Our business and operations are mainly aligned to seven of the 17 SDGs namely: Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Gender Equality, Decent work and Economic Growth, Industry Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities, and Partnership for the Goals. As opposed to many other companies, Fireside Group takes a holistic approach towards business, ensuring sustainability in the drive towards profits.
Corporate Social Investments
In the modern business sphere, organizations need to do more than simply make profits. Giving back to the society is the most fulfilling aspect of conducting business. While most organizations view corporate social investments as a mere branding and marketing tool, At Fireside, assisting vulnerable groups of people in the society is close to our heart. Our endeavor is to make a resounding impact in a holistic sense: Education wise, health wise, and social wise.
